I'm always curious to know what artists think/feel about tags and taggers. People using their art to make other art. Does it bother you? Are you apart of the CILM? (i think thats who they are...the watchdog artists site that makes taggers pay for using thier art when making tags) Should taggers be paying for the use of the art you freely posted on the internet? Especially when taggers aren't making any money off of it.

I'm a writer and tagger. I understand not wanting someone to take your creation and make money off of it and distorting it and calling it their own. But when someone isn't making any money off of it, and gives the original artist credit, why should they pay actual MONEY for it? Its all digital, people cannot hold onto it. I don't cuddle up with my tags when i am lonely ya know lol

I do agree with paying for art you will display in your home or actually hold onto. Thats absolutely necessary. But just to use it in PSP to make a pretty wallpaper or something? I don't know. This comes to mind because i'm thinking about posting up some of my own tags i have created but i don't want to do it and then get some angry artist on my ass wanting me to pay them for the use of thier original art.
